The Transition Guide is a reference tool for those about to separate from active duty military service. It can be read in any chapter order. However, it is is best read starting with the first chapter.

Veteran's benefits are wide and far-reaching but they may as well not exist if you don't understand what they are and how to apply for them. The sections covering them are all are in depth. In order to make them easily understandable the bureaucratic jargon has been dropped. Contact information for various Veterans Affairs offices and specific departments will provide a more detailed explanation should one be needed.
